What's Covered

Novex Paint Protection Film is backed by a 10-year warranty from the date of installation, covering the film against:

• Bubbling

• Cracking

• Yellowing

If your Novex film bubbles, cracks, or yellows within the warranty period as a result of a manufacturing defect, we'll replace the affected film at no cost to you. This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law — it doesn't limit them.

Note: this warranty covers the cost of replacement film only. Labour, removal, and re-installation costs are the owner's responsibility unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Keeping It Valid

Your warranty stays valid as long as:

• The film was installed by a trained and authorised Novex installer

• It's been maintained in line with our published care guidelines

• It was applied to original factory-painted panels (not a repainted or resprayed surface)

How to Claim

1. Contact your installer with your proof of purchase, your warranty document, and photo ID.

2. If your installer is no longer trading, contact Novex directly and we'll help progress your claim.

3. We'll assess your claim within a reasonable time and confirm the outcome and next steps in writing.

What's Not Covered

This warranty doesn't cover damage caused by:

• Accidents, misuse, or unauthorised alterations

• Poor-quality installation not performed by an authorised installer

• Normal wear and tear

• Stone chips, debris impact, or buffing/polishing damage

• Failure to follow care instructions

• Pressure washing contrary to care guidelines, harsh solvents, or manual peeling/scratching

• Work carried out by third parties such as body shops or unauthorised detailers

• Application over ceramic coatings, wax, or sealants that prevent proper adhesion

• Application to a repainted or resprayed surface

Gradual, minor changes in clarity or gloss over time, and slight edge lifting around trim points, are expected characteristics of the product over its lifespan and are not considered defects.

Nothing in this section limits any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Registration & Transferability

This warranty is issued to the original owner only and begins on the installation date shown on your invoice. It is not transferable to a subsequent owner of the vehicle.

MANDATORY NOTICE:
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled: to cancel your service contract with us; and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage from a failure in the goods or service.

SCOPE OF COVERAGE:
Thank you for choosing Novex Paint Protection Film ("Product") for your vehicle. Novex Paint Protection Films Pty Ltd ("Novex") together with the authorised installer named on your warranty registration ("Installer") provide the purchaser ("Owner") with a limited warranty ("Warranty") covering the Product against bubbling, cracking, and yellowing for a period of ten (10) years from the installation date shown on your invoice ("Warranty Period"). This Warranty applies to Product purchased and installed within Australia and is provided in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

WHAT NOVEX PROMISES:
If the Product bubbles, cracks, or yellows within the Warranty Period as a result of a manufacturing defect, Novex will replace the affected film at no cost to the Owner. Where the original Product is no longer available, Novex may substitute a comparable product of similar quality and performance. This Warranty covers the cost of replacement film only; the Owner is responsible for any labour, removal, or re-installation costs unless otherwise agreed in writing.

KEEPING YOUR WARRANTY VALID:
This Warranty applies only where the Product was purchased through and installed by an authorised Installer, and where the Owner has followed the Care Instructions provided at installation. This Warranty is conditional on the Product having been:

• Installed by a trained and authorised Novex installer;

• Maintained in line with Novex's published care guidelines; and

• Applied to an original factory-painted surface (not a repainted or resprayed panel).

HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM:
To make a claim, contact your Installer with your proof of purchase, this warranty document, and photo identification. If your Installer is no longer trading, contact Novex directly and we will assist in progressing your claim. Novex aims to assess all claims within a reasonable time and will advise the Owner of the outcome and any next steps in writing.

Please check any applicable state, territory, or local regulations before installing the Product on your vehicle, as requirements for aftermarket accessories can vary by jurisdiction. Novex, the Installer, and any Novex distributor are not responsible for any breach of such laws or regulations by the Owner.

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION:
This Warranty is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria. Nothing in this clause limits any right the Owner has to bring a claim under the Australian Consumer Law.
